The Bihar Floods have been the biggest calamity happened in the recent times. It claimed more than over 300 lives and affected 15 districts.
Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted the aerial survey of Bihar regions and announced a hefty amount of 500 crores as a relief for the flood hit regions. In addition, he also announced 2lakh each to the family of those who died in this disaster.
PM assured CM that state should be given all the possible facilities and assistance for the damage done by the floods. He even asked the insurance companies to send their members to analysis the damage crops to help the farmers.
Mr. Narendra Modi did the survey of fours affected districts – Katihar, Araria, Kisanganj, and Purnea.
