PM Modi Addresses Rallies in Uttar Pradesh & Madhya Pradesh

Ahead of the sixth phase of polls 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two massive public rallies in Uttar Pradesh (Deoria & Kushinagar) & two in Madhya Pradesh (Indore & Khandwa).

While addressing in Kushinagar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned that around two terrorists were killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian in an encounter on Sunday morning when voting was going on. Referring to a statement from Opposition Party that why Modi allowed encounter during voting, he clarified that the army wouldn’t wait for the Election Commission’s clearance to take action against terrorists.

PM Modi said,

“They (the terrorists) were standing in front (of the soldiers) with bombs and guns. Would my jawans go to the Election Commission to ask for permission to shoot? Since I came to Kashmir, every second or third day, clean-ups take place. This is my clean-up operation.”

Before Kushinagar rally, PM Modi met Ramchandra Pandey Ji and sought his blessings. He also took to his Twitter handle and wrote,

“आज कुशीनगर में रैली से पहले भाजपा के वरिष्ठ कार्यकर्ता रामचंद्र पांडेय जी से आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने का सौभाग्य मिला। रामचंद्र पांडेय जी ने दीनदयाल उपाध्याय जी के साथ भी पार्टी का कार्य किया है।”

Addressing the rallies in Kushinagar and Deoria, PM Modi said,

“The nation witnessed rapid development at an unprecedented level during the last five years which is why the people are again voting for another term for a strong, clean and decisive BJP government to lead the country in the coming years.”

Further, in the speech in UP, PM Modi took a jibe at ‘Mahamilawat’ alliance of SP-BSP and said that this alliance is made to fulfill the hunger for power within these parties and their leaders, not to serve the people of UP.

He added,

“Recently a Dalit lady from Rajasthan was raped in the Congress-ruled Rajasthan. However, despite knowing about this case, Behenji’s BSP hasn’t withdrawn its support from the Congress government there. Is the pain and humiliation of this Dalit woman not enough for Behenji to part with her allies? Incidents like these demonstrate the true faces of such parties who have only fooled the people of U.P. whenever they came to power.”

Listen to the full speech of PM Modi in Kushinagar, UP.

“Kushinagar is determined to support BJP. The Mahamilawat is seen as anti-development here. Watch.”

Also, watch PM Modi’s speech at Deoria.

“Mahamilawat means instability and corruption. BJP stands for progress. Watch from Deoria.”

Later PM Modi posted pictures from UP rallies with the caption,

“The scorching heat was no deterrent for record number of people to join the rallies in Kushinagar and Deoria. Across Poorvanchal there is a wave in favour of BJP, which has worked to improve infrastructure, health and education facilities across the region.

Here are pictures.”

Further PM Modi left for Madhya Pradesh for Khandwa and Indore rallies. There addressing rallies, PM Modi discussed various national issues along with domestic problems faced by the people of MP under the Congress government.

PM Modi said,

“While I come among the people with my performance record of having served the people of this country tirelessly for the last five years, the ‘Mahamilawati’ leaders have nothing but their campaign of falsehood, division and appeasement to their credit. With our mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ we worked towards enhancing the quality of life of our citizens while also expanding the social security net to the most vulnerable sections of society.”

In the speech in Khandwa, PM Modi called Congress looters and said that,

“MP is angry because Congress is looting the state. They want BJP. Speaking in Khandwa.”

Later in the speech, PM Modi mentioned some key differences between the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He asserted that the 2019 elections are about a strong pro-incumbency for the BJP while the 2014 elections were about anti-incumbency against the Congress.

PM Modi took to Twitter and shared his speech at Indore.

“Delighted to be in Indore, a city that has always blessed BJP. Sharing my address.”

He later tweeted,

“Touched by the response in Indore and Khandwa.

Congress, which has two and a half Chief Ministers in Madhya Pradesh, is headed for a big defeat. The only industry thriving under Congress in MP is the transfer posting industry.

People see BJP as their ray of hope.”
